The music, while sparse, was used really effectively, I especially loved Camp Approach and the song over the end credits as well, just seeing the photos you've taken and then the ones Brian took was really bittersweet. I didn't realise how open-world it was going to be, and loved how you're left to roam around the park with just the map and compass and just hear the sounds around you. The ending was a little anti-climactic, but whilst it would have been more fun if there was a bigger conspiracy going on, it didn't detract from the enjoyment for me. Firewatch is a video game and as such, you expect that when you are put into a large map like the forest, things wont be run-of-the-mill.

I found the backstory you get the start really hard-hitting so went into it not sure whether it was for me but being plunged into this wilderness with only one source of contact almost makes you forget about why Henry's there in the first place. The game really played on this feeling of loneliness as there were no other humans in the game other than silhouettes and of course Delilah (who well get onto later). I'd read the plot on Wikipedia last year but had mostly forgotten it so kind of knew where the story was going but not really. I stumbled across Firewatch about a year ago, while looking for desktop wallpapers and fell in love with the scenery, then finally got a laptop fast enough to play it a month ago.
